(Moha.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of February 14, 2025, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Steering Committee for the reorganization of the apparatus when transferring a number of units under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Steering Committee) held a meeting to summarize the initial results of the reorganization. According to the preliminary results, more than 60 comrades volunteered to retire early. Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; members of the Steering Committee; leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

After listening to Comrade Nguyen Huu Tuan, Member of the Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Personnel Organization of the Ministry of Home Affairs, a member of the Steering Committee, report on the initial results of synthesizing early retirement wishes to facilitate the work of arranging and assigning personnel, especially leaders when implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus, more than 60 comrades wrote applications to voluntarily retire early. Among them, there are comrades who are Department Heads with more than 4 years of work left (born in 1967). These are exemplary cadres and Party members who have proactively asked to retire to facilitate the process of arranging the apparatus, creating conditions for the next generation to continue the work, and operate the apparatus smoothly.
At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee contributed their opinions on a number of contents related to the organizational arrangement when transferring a number of units under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Home Affairs such as: organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs; assessment regulations for civil servants, public employees, and workers in the performance of public duties to restructure, improve the quality of the team and arrange the organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Assessment regulations); arrangement of the organizational apparatus of the Party Committee; plan to arrange headquarters and workplaces for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of units subject to arrangement; Finance, assets, etc.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang, Head of the Steering Committee, commended and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, exemplary spirit, sharing work with the organization in the context of arranging and assigning cadres and creating conditions and opportunities to arrange young cadres, cadres in the planning to effectively use high-quality human resources. These comrades are truly exemplary models. The Steering Committee will report to the Minister for commendation, honor and recognition.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang emphasized the principles of urgency, determination, strictness, impartiality, objectivity, and transparency to be thoroughly communicated to each member of the Steering Committee, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, especially those units subject to rearrangement; At the same time, he requested that these units continue to closely follow the direction of the Central Steering Committee, the Government, and legal regulations to implement and avoid missing tasks.

"In the process of arranging and organizing the apparatus, it is necessary to create an atmosphere of solidarity, excitement, joy, enthusiasm, energy, propaganda, and ideology for party members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to motivate them to work together towards a common task of the Ministry and the unit. The arrangement of positions and workplaces must be calculated appropriately and have specific instructions for units to implement smoothly and synchronously," Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang emphasized.

The staff departments must advise the Steering Committee to provide specific instructions to the units subject to arrangement and consolidation to be ready to implement the tasks immediately after the Government issues the Decree stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministries and ministerial-level agencies.

The Department of Personnel Organization of the two Ministries (standing agencies) shall complete the arrangement and organization of the apparatus of the Ministry of Home Affairs to submit to the Minister for signing a document reporting to the Central Steering Committee according to regulations.

Members of the Steering Committee need to actively participate in contributing ideas to complete the Regulation on evaluation of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the performance of public duties to restructure, improve the quality of the team and reorganize the apparatus of the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure objectivity, fairness, accuracy, publicity, transparency associated with improving the quality of the team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees associated with future job positions and staffing. The deadline for completion is February 20, 2025 for reporting, submitting to the Minister for consideration and signing.

Besides, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang also requested that the Trade Union and Youth Union organizations of the two Ministries must do a good job of political and ideological work for union members.
