ITTC Ninh Thuan: Increasingly promoting operational efficiency

After more than a year of operating under the new model, the Ninh Thuan Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (ITTC) has made positive changes, demonstrating its important role in promoting investment, trade, industry and tourism in the province. The results achieved not only affirm the effectiveness of the merger of the three previous units but also serve as an important premise for the center to continue to promote its role and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.

In 2024, ITTC Ninh Thuan achieved remarkable results in the fields of investment promotion, trade, tourism, industrial promotion and business support. Specifically, it successfully organized 3 major investment promotion conferences, attracting the attention of many domestic and foreign investors. Welcoming and working with over 30 investors to explore investment opportunities. Organizing 13 trade promotion activities, supporting 225 businesses to participate in displaying and introducing products. Successfully supporting the export of many agricultural products, especially aloe vera processed products to 22 countries. Advised on removing difficulties and obstacles for 37 enterprises related to the fields of land, minerals, environment, construction, investment... Supported and guided 12 enterprises of the province to register to participate in the vote for typical rural industrial products in 2024, resulting in 6 products winning the award for typical rural industrial products at the Central - Central Highlands region level. Completed 11/11 projects, supported enterprises in technological innovation and product introduction.

Since the beginning of the year, ITTC Ninh Thuan has proactively implemented specific action plans, achieving positive results such as: Consulting on organizing investment promotion delegations in China, Korea, Japan; organizing conferences and dialogues with enterprises, promptly removing difficulties for investors; receiving and working to support investment registration for 8 investors; building and completing 15 detailed projects under industrial promotion programs.

Comrade Truong Van Tien, Director of ITTC Ninh Thuan, said: After more than a year of operating under the model of merging 3 units, the center has made changes, affirming its position as a focal point in promoting, connecting and attracting investment. The merger not only helps the apparatus operate effectively but also creates smooth coordination between fields, improving management and operation capacity.

In the field of investment promotion, ITTC Ninh Thuan has proactively implemented many practical activities to attract domestic and foreign investors. By developing a methodical approach plan, organizing conferences, seminars and participating in investment promotion in many countries and key localities, contributing to promoting the potential and strengths of Ninh Thuan, thereby increasing cooperation and investment opportunities, attracting many large projects, contributing to creating momentum for socio-economic development of the province, improving the investment and business environment. The center plays a connecting role between the government and businesses, supporting administrative procedures, while promoting consulting work, providing complete and transparent information, helping to enhance investor confidence.

In the field of trade and tourism, ITTC Ninh Thuan has constantly innovated and improved the quality of promotion and market development. Trade promotion programs are organized more professionally, effectively supporting local businesses in expanding product consumption markets. In particular, tourism promotion activities are promoted, making the most of digital platforms and communication technology, thereby contributing to bringing the image of Ninh Thuan tourism closer to domestic and international tourists.

At a recent working session with ITTC Ninh Thuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam highly appreciated the positive changes in the Center's operations and emphasized a number of key tasks in the coming time. In particular, focusing on investment promotion, being more proactive in calling for, searching for and connecting with potential investors. Standardizing information on procedures related to investment calling projects in a clear and transparent manner. Strengthening coordination between departments, branches and sectors, speeding up the handling of outstanding issues. Proactively synthesizing information in a timely manner, reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for quicker and more practical instructions. Continuously innovating and improving operating methods, creating a strong spread in the business community. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that ITTC Ninh Thuan will continue to maintain its development momentum, constantly improve to become a core unit, contributing to promoting the province's socio-economic development more and more sustainably.
