The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Israel carried out a drone strike in central Syria on May 25 that killed two Hezbollah fighters.

"An Israeli drone fired two missiles at a Hezbollah car and truck near the town of Qusayr in Homs province, as they were heading to Al-Dabaa military airport, killing at least two Hezbollah fighters and wounding others," the SOHR said in a statement.
This is the third attack on Hezbollah targets in Syria in about a week.
Earlier, on May 20, Israeli attacks on the town of Qusayr, near the Lebanese border, killed eight fighters from pro-Iranian forces.
A Hezbollah source told AFP at the time of the attack that at least one of its fighters was among those killed.
On May 18, Israel carried out another attack targeting "a Hezbollah commander and his companions" but there were no casualties.
Israel rarely comments on individual attacks in Syria but has repeatedly said it will not allow Iran to expand its presence in the region.
Attacks against Hezbollah have increased significantly since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict, after pro-Iranian Palestinian militant groups increased attacks on Israel.
