"We have only one point after two away games, but we still have three home games left. We are very strong when playing at home, I still feel positive and look forward to the match against Vietnam," coach Shin Tae Yong said at a press conference after Indonesia's disappointing 1-1 draw with the Philippines.

In the first half, the Indonesian team had a lot of difficulty in developing the game. The team from the archipelago was under more pressure when Patrick Reichelt opened the score in the 23rd minute.
It was not until the second half that Indonesia's performance gradually improved. They put pressure back on the Philippines and succeeded in leveling the score at 1-1 thanks to a goal by Saddil Ramdani in the 70th minute.
However, coach Shin Tae Yong and his team were forced to share points with the Philippines when they could not succeed in their goal of coming from behind to win.
"We had to play two away games in a row. The time difference and the bad pitch made it difficult for us to adapt. Obviously, despite the various difficulties that affected our performance, we did not give up," coach Shin Tae Yong praised his players after the draw.
"In the first 20 minutes, we didn't play well. I expected the team to have difficulties. I was not wrong when my team had difficulties in the first half because of the quality of the pitch.
We had difficulties because of the field conditions but the players showed good spirit so we played better in the second half," the Korean strategist added.
