Tien Phuoc District leads the patriotic emulation movement of Quang Nam Mountainous Emulation Cluster in 2024

The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Le Quang Trung - Chairman of Phuoc Son District People's Committee, Head of the Emulation Cluster and Mr. Tran Van Man - Vice Chairman of Nam Tra My District People's Committee, with the participation of members of the emulation cluster.

According to the report at the conference, in 2024, emulation movements were launched and implemented effectively. Districts in the cluster maintained socio-economic stability, effectively implemented social security, education, health care and national defense and security policies.

Some notable achievements include: the disbursement rate of public investment capital reached from 54.9% (Bac Tra My) to 83% (Tien Phuoc); local budget revenue exceeded estimates: Nam Tra My reached 127.04% and Phuoc Son 126.3%; poverty reduction exceeded targets, such as Nam Giang reducing the number of poor households by 192.5% compared to the plan. The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses also achieved impressive results, such as Nam Giang building 787 new houses and Bac Tra My building 754 houses.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that he would commend and reward localities that do well in disbursement and conversely review weak investors. Administrative reform and digital transformation have been promoted, with Bac Tra My leading the administrative reform index of the whole cluster. The area of new forest plantations exceeded the plan in many localities such as Nam Giang (166.08%) and Tay Giang (136%). In addition to the advantages, the conference also pointed out limitations such as the uneven emulation movement and some targets not achieved due to the impact of natural disasters and epidemics. The conference discussed lessons learned, reviewed the efforts of the past journey, and lessons that can be inherited to prepare for a new development path of the mountainous region, before major changes from the policy of organizing the apparatus in the coming time.

The conference reviewed, scored, and agreed that Tien Phuoc district would lead the patriotic emulation movement of the entire Quang Nam Mountainous Emulation Cluster in 2024.
