Mobilize all resources to care for the people

That was the direction of Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy at the Conference to summarize the activities of the Emulation Cluster of the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces in 2024, held on December 7 in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front emulation cluster of 7 provinces in the Northern midlands and mountainous region includes 7 provinces: Phu Tho, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Hoa Binh.

During the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the Emulation Cluster mobilized over VND284.1 billion to build the “For the Poor” Fund. From the Fund and mobilized sources, coordinated visits and presented over 385,162 gifts, worth tens of billions of VND to poor and near-poor households, policy families, and the disabled; supported the renovation and repair of 5,173 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households and people with meritorious services with an amount of over VND293.1 billion.

Responding to the call for support for people in areas affected by storm No. 3, as of November 20, the provincial relief committees have received a total amount of over VND 1,181 billion and more than 1,000 tons of various necessities.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, coordinated visits and presented 1,353 gifts with a total value of over 4.2 billion VND. Visited and congratulated ethnic people and religious dignitaries on holidays and Tet with 1,277 gifts with a total value of over 700 million VND.

Continuing to innovate and implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" with many good models and suitable methods, many new rural models have been deployed and built with typical results. Currently, the provinces in the cluster maintain and replicate 15,190 self-management models on security and order, environmental sanitation, flower roads, village lighting, etc.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has presided over and supervised the implementation of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work, implemented grassroots democracy, and participated in Party and government building in 1,564 meetings.

Ms. Tran Thi Loc, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Kan province, highly appreciated the contributions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.

Organized 680 conferences and seminars to provide social criticism on draft projects, reports, resolutions and decisions; contributed comments on 3,338 draft laws, draft legal documents, programs, plans and projects of agencies and units, contributing to perfecting the Party's mechanisms and policies and the State's laws at the local level.

The People's Inspection Committee supervised 1,956 meetings, the Community Investment Supervision Committee supervised 2,899 meetings, focusing on supervising the construction of traffic works in residential areas; building new and repairing cultural houses in villages and residential groups. Chairing and coordinating the organization of 179 dialogue conferences between leaders of Party committees and authorities with cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, member organizations and people's representatives...

At the Conference, the Emulation Cluster of the Northern Border Mountainous Provinces announced the results of emulation scoring in 2024 and signed the Emulation Covenant in 2025. The Conference unanimously honored the Tuyen Quang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee as the Head of the Emulation Cluster of the Northern Border Mountainous Provinces in 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Hoang Cong Thuy congratulated the Fatherland Front of Bac Kan province on successfully fulfilling its role as Cluster Leader in 2024 and congratulated the Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province on taking on the role of Cluster Leader of the Emulation Cluster in 2025. He requested the Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces in the Emulation Cluster to continue promoting the results achieved in 2024, the potentials and strengths of each province; at the same time, thoroughly overcome the existing shortcomings and limitations.

Effectively organize and implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term; Together with the political system in the province, strive to successfully and comprehensively complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels in 2025.

Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels do a good job of propagating and mobilizing cadres, Party members and members to fully understand the policies and guidelines of the Party and State in organizing and effectively implementing the "Summary of Resolution 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently". Coordinate with Party committees, authorities, socio-political organizations and member organizations to successfully organize Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Continue to proactively concretize into projects, programs, plans and effectively organize the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030; Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.

Focus on coordinating with all levels and sectors to mobilize resources, pay attention to and care for all classes of people, especially poor households, households in difficult circumstances, policy households, workers and laborers in industrial parks and clusters, ensuring that every family and every person can enjoy a warm Tet holiday with their family, and that no one goes hungry or lacks clothing during the Lunar New Year 2025.
