After listening to the localities' reports on the results of activities in the past year, Chairman Do Van Chien agreed with the results of the emulation work in 2024 and the direction and tasks for 2025. According to Chairman Do Van Chien, the emulation cluster of 5 cities actively prepared and successfully organized the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term (In which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Can Tho City was chosen as the model Congress), contributing to the success of the 10th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress.

Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized: The outstanding feature in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is to mobilize social resources to ensure social security, support people affected by natural disasters and floods (especially storm No. 3, the poor, people in difficult circumstances...). The strength of this activity is the openness and transparency of the mobilization work. The Vietnam Fatherland Front has successfully built houses for the poor in Dien Bien province (5,500 houses) as a practical basis for the Prime Minister to launch a nationwide emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor in 2025. Chairman Do Van Chien acknowledged that the role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the past term has been raised to a new level.

Directing the direction, goals and tasks for 2025, Chairman Do Van Chien said: 2025 is a very important year, the year of Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress; the year of celebrating major holidays... posing many key tasks for the work of the Front.
