Implementing the program "Greening Truong Sa", on February 14, the islands of Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province responded to the tree planting festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho".
Over the years, the movement of planting, caring for and protecting trees has always been actively and enthusiastically participated by officers and soldiers on the islands of Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province. To serve the launching of the Tet tree planting campaign to achieve good results, the islands have developed plans, organized specific assignments for each area of planting and caring for trees for the forces; fully prepared all kinds of plants, fertilizers, labor tools, etc.

After the launching ceremony, the participating units planted and cared for more than 3,000 trees. Of these, more than 1,000 new trees were planted, including coconut, candleberry, Indian almond, tra and some fruit trees. More than 2,000 trees of various types were cared for, pruned and cleaned in the island grounds.
This is a practical activity during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin of officers and soldiers of the islands of Truong Sa island district to carry out Uncle Ho's teaching "Spring is the season for planting trees, making the country more and more springy".
