The landslide site is about 3,000 square meters wide and 3-5 meters deep. Rescuers have cordoned off the area and focused on digging. However, the scene is quite complicated. The house collapsed with a large amount of fallen rocks and soil, the weak terrain and soft soil made it difficult to find people.

Colonel Truong Minh Duong, Director of the Provincial Police, along with leaders of the province and the city, also arrived at the scene to direct the rescue work. Many forces and vehicles were urgently mobilized to rescue the victims.

Present at the landslide sites, Mr. Tran Van Hiep - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested immediate rescue, support for local people and overcome the consequences. The head of the Provincial People's Committee also requested relevant units to review all construction permits of projects in the landslide area. In case of violations that lead to the incident, strict action will be taken.
