NDO - On the morning of March 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, Pfizer Vietnam Company Limited (Pfizer Vietnam) and Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote knowledge sharing in vaccine production in Vietnam.
This partnership demonstrates the commitment of both parties to enhance the healthcare ecosystem in Vietnam by leveraging their strengths and expertise.
With the signing of the memorandum of understanding, the two sides establish a framework for cooperation in the spirit of goodwill between Pfizer Vietnam and VNVC to support VNVC in improving its capacity to establish a vaccine production facility. The cooperation will focus on knowledge sharing and facilitating the development of joint capacity in vaccine production. Pfizer Vietnam will organize knowledge sharing sessions, while VNVC will seek solutions to promote the goal of establishing a modern vaccine production facility.
The collaboration and knowledge sharing marks an important step forward in accessing vaccine production knowledge, which will help support proactive solutions to protect public health against dangerous infectious diseases. This collaboration opens up opportunities for VNVC to promote the ability to produce high-quality vaccines using advanced technology. Thereby, proactively supplying vaccines to the Vietnamese people, reducing dependence on imported products and cutting costs.
