Meeting to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day

(HG) - Nga Bay City Medical Center has just held a meeting to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024) and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hau Giang's health sector.

Over the years, the health sector of Nga Bay city has been constantly developing, especially in 2023, the new medical center headquarters will be put into use, creating favorable conditions for professional activities of the sector; maintaining 100% of commune and ward health care lines meeting national health standards. Effectively implementing the national target program on health associated with reproductive health care services, family planning and improving population quality in 2023. Performing well the work of taking care of people's health, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the city's general hospital.

At the conference, many delegates gave their opinions on building the quality of the city's health sector to develop both in terms of quality in health care for the people as well as improving the qualifications and quantity of officials in the sector. To do so, the sector's leaders must have a plan and orientation in specialized training, pay attention to medical equipment and supplies, and improve the quality of public health care.

- Phung Hiep District Medical Center has just held a meeting to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.

In recent times, the medical examination and treatment work of Phung Hiep District Medical Center has been increasingly improved, gradually building and developing high-quality human resources, applying and deploying new techniques, specialized techniques in diagnosis and treatment towards patient satisfaction, meeting the increasing needs of medical examination and treatment of the people. In 2023, the total number of outpatient examinations and treatments was more than 97,000; inpatient treatment was nearly 11,000; emergency patients were 1,107; the hospital bed occupancy rate reached 98%. Reproductive health care, family planning, and population quality improvement activities are increasingly effective, meeting the people's health care situation in the new situation.

On this occasion, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phung Hiep district presented flower baskets to congratulate doctors and medical staff in the district on Vietnamese Doctors' Day.
