According to Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor – Meritorious Doctor Truong Quang Dinh, the patients as well as the staff are very happy because they can enjoy delicious pho, the most quintessential Vietnamese dish right at the hospital.
“We know that Tuoi Tre newspaper has also brought this pho dish to Korea and Japan. Therefore, the City Children's Hospital is very happy and honored, as an activity to participate and respond to this program, to honor the position of Vietnamese pho, not only in Vietnam but also in the world”, Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor – Meritorious Physician Truong Quang Dinh emphasized.
At the event, many sick children and parents could not hide their emotions when they not only had the opportunity to meet and interact with the beautiful, talented, friendly and simple Miss Bao Ngoc, but also to be personally served each bowl of hot pho by her attentive and thoughtful person, gently asking about and encouraging the little angels to recover quickly.
“Having been with Vietnamese pho for a while, Bao Ngoc always has special feelings for Vietnamese pho, especially when it comes to children, Ngoc wants to be able to send love to them through bowls of pho.

Two top pho brands
As the pioneer brand to bring Ngoc Linh ginseng into pho, Pho Sam Ngoc Linh brought more than 300 hot pho portions to the program. Hundreds of sick children and parents lined up in long lines, hoping to try ginseng pho, causing this pho stall to continuously increase the amount of pho noodles, meat, etc.
“We planned to give away more than 300 portions, but in fact we increased the number twice, because outpatients and their families also lined up so we served them all the time,” said Mr. Tran Tuan Hung, Chairman of Binh Duong Province Tourism Association and CEO of Pho Sam Ngoc Linh.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tuan Trung, owner of Pho Phu Gia brand, the bowls of quality pho are also a wish sent to the sick children, their families and female staff of the hospital. "I hope the children will recover soon. I hope we can continue to accompany more of these meaningful programs," said Mr. Trung.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Luu, from Tien Giang, grandmother of patient Nguyen Ngoc Thien Kim, said that she and her grandchild had been in the hospital for more than a week to treat the child's pneumonia.
“I heard there was a pho giveaway program so I was very happy, so my grandma and I took the opportunity to come down and receive it. I really like pho, and today I got to eat delicious pho so I like it even more. Thank you for giving these gifts to the patients here,” Mrs. Luu said emotionally.

Like Ms. Luu, Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, from Binh Thuan, mother of patient Vo Dang Khoi (2 months old), said that her child had an intestinal disease, so he had been in the hospital for a while. "I heard that there was pho, so I quickly took my child down because I hadn't had pho for a long time and was craving it," Ms. Duyen confided.
As an active supporter of the program, MC Anh Dao said that not only this time "Pho yeu thuong", but also the previous pho programs she participated in all received a warm welcome from everyone.
“From the elderly to children and even middle-aged people, everyone loves pho and pho stalls are always crowded with people lining up to enjoy delicious bowls of hot pho,” said the female MC.
In addition to the performances by singer Quang Dai and employees of Binh Minh Viet Plastic Joint Stock Company, the program also made a strong impression on the children through the exciting magic shows of international magician Tuan Minh.
