More than 185 experts and researchers attend international conference on marine technology

From March 27-28, at Nha Trang University (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa), the 5th International Conference on Marine Science and Technology and Fisheries (MFST 2025) was held, co-organized by Nha Trang University and National Taiwan Ocean University.

The conference attracted more than 185 researchers, scholars, and experts in the fields of marine science, technology, and sustainable economic activities, including more than 35 international delegates from Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, India, etc.

The conference is an opportunity for scientists to present and share groundbreaking research, exchange ideas and discuss solutions to current challenges in the marine industry.

At the conference, scientists shared the latest research projects in 6 main areas: Aquaculture technology; marine environment and climate change; sustainable fisheries and resource conservation; seafood processing and post-harvest technology; infrastructure, maritime transport and smart aquaculture; marine economy and green tourism.

The main speakers of the conference are prestigious scientists with many outstanding research works in the field of marine science and technology and fisheries from National Taiwan Ocean University, University of Bologna, and Nha Trang University.

In addition to scientific discussions, the conference also organized exhibition booths to display and introduce the latest products and technologies in the maritime and fisheries sectors, creating opportunities for organizations and businesses to introduce products and seek cooperation opportunities in this field.

In addition, the two sides also set up working sessions on the sidelines of the workshop to promote new cooperation activities in training strong professions and implementing joint research projects.

The International Conference on Marine Science, Technology and Fisheries is held every two years to realize the strategic partnership established by Nha Trang University and National Taiwan Ocean University in May 2024.
