Information conference and press briefing for the first quarter of 2025

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen chaired the conference to provide information to the press.

In the first quarter of 2025, press agencies have closely followed the orientation, promoted the application of information technology, been active and proactive in information and propaganda work to serve the political tasks of the locality, specifically, published press publications, broadcast radio and television programs, special columns to serve the information access needs of readers, audiences, and listeners during the Spring of At Ty 2025; focused on reflecting on the activities of Party Committees and authorities at all levels in the management and operation of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2024 and the first months of 2025; promptly informed and reflected on current events, politics, economics, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building and the political system, especially the Spring Festival, New Year's Eve, New Year's festivals, and the atmosphere of readiness to prepare for the military service festival in localities in the province; activities to celebrate major national and provincial holidays; resolutely carry out the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, ensuring the right progress... Thereby, contributing to raising the demand for comprehensive and official information, orienting public opinion among cadres, party members and the people.

At the Conference, press agencies in the province were informed about the socio-economic situation, ensuring national defense and security in February and the first two years of 2025; the implementation of the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province; the results of the implementation of the Proposal to rearrange the organizational apparatus of specialized agencies at provincial and district levels in the province; the implementation of Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT dated December 30, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning in the province; the current status of traditional architecture in Bac Kan province and solutions to preserve and promote its values; human rights work in the first quarter of 2025. Along with that is information about activities to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of Bac Kan province (April 11, 1900 - April 11, 2025); Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week; event "Song Cau Culture - where the source converges".

Representatives of press agencies requested to clarify some new points and highlights of the Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week 2025, the connection and association with provinces in the Cau River basin, the reenactment of the history of the Cau River; the solution of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on difficulties in mobilizing people to remove temporary and dilapidated houses; the activities of departments, branches and localities after streamlining and rearranging the apparatus; difficulties in the implementation of registration for extra teaching and learning... The opinions were received and directly answered by relevant departments and branches.

Speaking at the Conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen hoped that the central and local press agencies would continue to accompany and coordinate with the province to promote information and propaganda work on issues of public interest, especially important events of the province, the socio-economic development plan for 2025 of Bac Kan province; continue to objectively reflect and contribute opinions on arising issues of local authorities at all levels so that the province can promptly direct and resolve them.
