One of the outstanding activities of Tien Hai District Business Association is to organize conferences, seminars, talks, and training courses to improve legal awareness, management capacity, and business skills for members. Through this, not only providing professional knowledge but also creating opportunities for businesses to exchange and learn from each other.
Mr. Pham Bach Tung, Director of Thien Hoang Technical and Commercial Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Tien Hai District Business Association, said: Over the past year, the Association has coordinated with functional agencies to organize dozens of propaganda sessions and legal consultations related to investment, production and business activities of enterprises such as land, tax, environment, labor, insurance regime for employees... Mastering knowledge and strictly implementing legal regulations helps enterprises avoid violations, strengthen their reputation and brand. In addition, through seminars, enterprises can exchange and share experiences in management, corporate governance, investment in innovation of science and technology, machinery for production to increase productivity, product quality, especially improving the working environment to help employees feel secure and stay with the enterprise for a long time.
Recognizing that capital difficulties are one of the major barriers to business operations, in recent times, the Tien Hai District Business Association has made efforts to implement solutions to support finance and connect businesses with investors, opening up opportunities for cooperation and development. Most notably, the Association has connected and coordinated with the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Tien Hai Branch to disseminate new credit policies and preferential loan packages, creating favorable conditions for members to access loans for investment and development.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hiep, Director of Agribank Tien Hai Branch, said: The coordination between Agribank and the District Business Association helps businesses update credit policies in a timely manner, increase trust from both sides and shorten disbursement time. Initially, Agribank Tien Hai Branch has supported procedures and approved loans for a number of small and medium-sized enterprises with a total outstanding loan balance of nearly 200 billion VND to invest in production and business development.
In 2024, Tien Hai District Business Association also organized many activities to promote product consumption for businesses from trade connection, mobilizing members to consume each other's products to providing information, supporting businesses to participate in fairs and exhibitions to promote products, search and expand consumption markets both domestically and abroad. Many businesses have participated in investment promotion and trade promotion with provincial delegations in China, Korea, Japan, France, Sweden, Russia, etc.
Mr. To Xuan Canh, Director of Hao Canh Porcelain Production and Trading Company Limited said: Trade promotion activities not only bring opportunities to approach potential customers and sign export orders but also help strengthen brand recognition and enhance the reputation of local businesses.
In order to create a favorable investment and business environment for members, Tien Hai District Business Association closely coordinates with the district government, regularly exchanging information on the business community's operations.
Mr. Pham Bach Tung added: The difficulties and problems were promptly reported by the District Business Association to the local government and functional agencies, and at the same time proposed and recommended solutions and support mechanisms to help businesses overcome difficulties, stabilize production and business, and at the same time encourage businesses to invest in expanding production scale.
Up to now, Tien Hai district has 525 enterprises and over 400 production and business establishments, creating jobs for nearly 30,000 workers. Thanks to the practical support activities of the District Business Association, the support of the local government, the creativity of entrepreneurs, the district business community has maintained effective production and business, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the district. The total production value of the district's industrial and handicraft sectors in 2024 is estimated at 15,781.77 billion VND, an increase of 9.68% compared to 2023. The main industrial products are tiles, construction ceramics, fine art ceramics, household ceramics, mineral water, natural gas, and safety airbags.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Ke, Chairman of Tien Hai District People's Committee, said: The district's industrial production activities are shifting positively towards product diversification and value addition. Tien Hai is also a strategic investment area for large domestic and foreign investors such as Geleximco Group, Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, joint venture of Tasco Auto Joint Stock Company and Geely Auto Group... This is an important premise for the district's industrial sector to develop strongly in the coming years.
