Long Hau Ceramic Joint Stock Company was established in 1968, formerly known as Long Hau Brick and Tile Enterprise. Through stages of development, the Company has now become a leading enterprise in the ceramic industry not only in Thai Binh but also in the country. Up to now, the Company has 3 independent production lines, a capacity of over 4 million products/month with over 60 high-value product designs; revenue reaches over 350 billion VND/year, paying the state budget over 10 billion VND each year, creating jobs for over 700 local workers.

Tien Hai district currently has 523 enterprises and more than 12,000 production and business establishments operating in the fields of: ceramics, glass, tiles, mechanics, textiles, construction, handicrafts, agricultural, forestry and fishery processing..., creating jobs for nearly 30,000 workers with an average income of 7 million VND/person/month. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Deputy Director of An Nam Textile Company Limited, said: Our company specializes in producing OE yarn with 100% cotton. From 2023 to now, the textile industry, especially the yarn industry, has encountered many difficulties. In order to maintain production and business activities, the Company must strive to find new export markets such as Thailand and Korea, while maintaining stable export orders to the traditional market of China. In the first 10 months of 2024, the Company's production and business situation grew quite well compared to the same period last year with a total output of more than 10,000 tons, creating stable jobs for 230 workers with an average income of 7 million VND/person/month.

According to Mr. Pham Ngoc Ke, Chairman of Tien Hai District People's Committee: In recent years, the district's business community has developed in terms of quantity, quality, structure and fields of operation, and has been making great contributions to the local socio-economic development. The total average production value in the 4 years of 2020 - 2024 in the district is estimated at over 22,000 billion VND/year, with an average growth rate of over 11%; the average budget revenue growth rate in the period of 2020 - 2024 is estimated at over 13%; the proportion of industry, construction and services accounts for over 76% in the economic structure. In the first 9 months of 2024 alone, the total production value of the district is estimated at more than 18,752 billion VND, an increase of more than 6% over the same period in 2023, reaching more than 71% of the annual plan, of which the value of industrial production, small-scale industry, and basic construction reached more than 12,000 billion VND. To accompany businesses, in the coming time, the district will continue to drastically implement administrative reforms to create maximum convenience for businesses and people to carry out procedures related to investment and production development; promote site clearance, especially for key industrial projects in the area.
