On the afternoon of October 4, Thai Binh City Business Association held the Congress for the 2024 - 2028 term.

In the 2018 - 2024 term, in the context of many difficulties due to the global economic crisis and complicated developments of the epidemic, the business community and enterprises of Thai Binh city still strive to rise up, maintain effective production and business, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the city and the province. Accompanying the enterprises is always the attention and active support of the Party Committees, authorities at all levels and the Thai Binh City Business Association. Notably, the Association has increased promotion, trade and investment promotion, organized linkages, signed cooperation agreements, promoted production and business activities between enterprises in the Association and enterprises inside and outside the province. Established a Business Support Center and has consulted and supported hundreds of enterprises in the fields of: auditing, site clearance, tax services, finance, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) technology serving corporate governance and production and business operations. The Association also did a good job in emulation and reward work, promptly honored and encouraged entrepreneurs and businesses to boost production and business; mobilized members to support 34,500 gifts worth 11.85 billion VND for the poor and disadvantaged policy families, and supported 5 billion VND for the Covid-19 prevention and control fund... During the past term, the City Business Association attracted and admitted more than 20 new members, exceeding the target set by the Congress, bringing the total number of members of the Association to nearly 130 enterprises.

With the theme "Continuous innovation - unlimited success", the Congress of Thai Binh City Business Association elected the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and leadership positions of the Association for the 2024 - 2028 term; Mr. Vu Manh Hoan, Chairman of the City Business Association for the 2018 - 2024 term, was elected as Chairman of the Association for the 2024 - 2028 term. The Congress also unanimously approved a number of goals, directions, and tasks of activities to strive to build the new term association to develop more and more strongly in all aspects.
