Tuition fees for Economics schools range from 16 to 70 million VND.

Tuition fees at many economic schools will increase by about 10-15% compared to before, ranging from 16-70 million VND per year.

As of March 13, more than 160 universities have released expected enrollment information for the 2024-2025 school year, but not many schools have announced tuition fees.

In the Economics sector, some schools plan to increase tuition fees by about 10-15% compared to last year. Depending on the training program, schools collect from 16 to 70 million VND per year (10 months). From the following years, tuition fees may continue to increase, at a rate of no more than 10-12.5% ​​compared to the previous year.

For international joint programs, tuition is higher, depending on the study time and the degree-granting partner.

Tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year of some Economics schools are as follows:

Banking Academy

This year, the Banking Academy recruited more than 3,500 students at its Hanoi campus. The school opened two new majors, Marketing and Auditing, and five new programs in Banking and International Finance, International Business, Investment Economics and Digital Marketing, and Auditing.

The school said that the tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year is expected to be around 25-37 million VND. Of which, standard training programs in the Business Management and Law group charge 25 million VND; Information Technology group is 26.5 million VND and Humanities and Social Sciences group is 26 million VND. Compared to the previous school year, this level is about 4-5 million VND higher.

The 37 million VND level applies to high-quality programs. For international joint programs, tuition ranges from 340-380 million VND for the entire 4-year course, and may be higher if students choose to study their final year at a joint school.

Academy of Finance

This year, the Academy of Finance will enroll 4,500 students, of which 3,100 will be for the standard program, 1,280 for the international certificate-oriented program, and the rest will be for joint programs with foreign universities, each granting a bachelor's degree.

The school expects tuition next year to be 25 million VND for the standard program, an increase of 1-2 million compared to last year. The international certificate-oriented program will cost 50 million.

With the joint program with Greenwich University, UK, the tuition fee for 4 years of domestic study is 280 million VND. If studying for 3 years in Vietnam and 1 year in the UK, the total tuition fee is 700 million VND (210 million in Vietnam, 490 million in the UK). Meanwhile, the joint program with Toulon University has a tuition fee of 171-180 million VND for three years, the highest in the majors of Accounting, Controlling, and Auditing.

National Economics University

This year, the school enrolls 6,500 students for 60 training programs, similar to last year.

The standard program tuition fee is from 16 to 22 million VND, depending on the major, while last year's tuition fee for this system was about 15-20 million.

National Economics University has not announced tuition fees for applied-oriented programs or programs in English.

University of Commerce

The school enrolls 4,950 students for 38 training programs. Of these, 8 programs belong to the International Professional Orientation Program (IPOP) group, including Business Administration, Commercial Marketing, International Certified Integrated Accounting, Logistics and Import-Export, International Trade, Finance - Commercial Banking, Corporate Human Resource Management, and Hotel Management. The school also opens two more standard programs: Banking and Financial Technology and Digital Business.

Tuition for standard training programs ranges from 24 to 26 million VND for the next school year. International career-oriented training programs charge 35 million VND.

University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City

The school enrolls 2,600 students, including new students in the Public Administration major. Tuition fees at the University of Economics and Law in 2024-2025 are expected to be around VND27.5 million for the Vietnamese program and VND57.6 million for the English program.

University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City

This year, the school enrolls 7,900 students, opening two new majors: Art Technology, Intelligent Control and Automation. For each major, students can choose the program in Vietnamese or English, or partly in English.

Tuition fees at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics for the Vietnamese language program range from VND975,000 to over VND1 million per credit, equivalent to about VND30 million per year (30 credits). For practice credits or credits taught in English, the fee is 1.2-1.4 times higher.

With the integrated international vocational certificate program, the tuition fee per credit is 1.1 and 1.7 million VND, respectively for the program taught in Vietnamese and English. The tuition fee at the Vinh Long branch is 625,000 VND per credit, equal to 65% of that in Ho Chi Minh City.

Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City

The school enrolled 4,329 students, an increase of nearly 700 compared to last year due to the opening of new majors in Data Science, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Financial Technology, International Business, and Auditing and Risk Management (under the Accounting major).

Ho Chi Minh City Banking University plans to charge VND10.5 million per semester for the general program, an increase of VND3.5 million compared to last year. For the program taught partly in English or the special program, the tuition fee is nearly VND20.3 million per semester, an increase of VND2.2 million.

For dual degree programs and international joint programs with degrees awarded by partner universities, the tuition is about 216 million VND for the entire course, including 8 semesters, an increase of nearly 4 million VND.

Some other economic schools such as Foreign Trade University and University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi have not announced tuition fees for the next school year.

According to the Government's regulations on public tuition fees, the ceiling (the highest level that can be collected) at public universities that are not self-sufficient in regular expenses for the 2024-2025 school year is 13.1-27.6 million VND per month, depending on the major. Schools that are autonomous (paying their own salaries, allowances, repairing facilities, etc.) can collect a maximum of 2-2.5 times the above level.

With training programs that have been quality-accredited according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training or foreign standards, schools are free to determine their own tuition fees.
