Ha Nam province will allocate 21 hectares of land to support the construction of the Banking Academy's second campus project at Nam Cao University Area.
The leaders of the Banking Academy said that at a recent working session between the academy's delegation and the leaders of Ha Nam province, Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee Truong Quoc Huy said that the locality has reserved 21 hectares of land in Nam Cao University Area to build the second campus of the Banking Academy.
In addition, Ha Nam province will also invest 500 billion VND in support from the local budget for the Banking Academy to build its second campus.
According to the leaders of Ha Nam province, with 21 hectares of land at Nam Cao University and 500 billion VND in support from the local budget for the Banking Academy to build a second campus in Ha Nam, it will contribute to changing the face of education in Ha Nam.
In addition, Ha Nam province also accompanies and supports the academy in site clearance, planning and construction design.
Associate Professor Dr. Bui Huu Toan, Chairman of the Banking Academy Council, said that by 2030, the school is expected to increase its training scale from 20,000 to 30,000 students, enrolling 6,000 students each year. Therefore, the academy's current facilities are also limited.
The expansion and construction of the second campus in Ha Nam contributes to the implementation of the Banking Academy's Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Approved by the Government in Decision No. 1748/QD-TTg dated September 27, 2013, Nam Cao University Area is located in Duy Tien town and Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province with an area of over 750 hectares, about 50 km from the headquarters of Banking Academy in Hanoi.
With a training scale of 50,000 students, 4,000 teachers and about 30,000 urban residents, Nam Cao University Area will become the largest educational training center in the North and at the same time create a multidisciplinary academic ecosystem.
