Study integrated program to find job easily, receive attractive salary

(NLDO) - With the integrated program and English math, the rate of students having jobs in their major is high and is highly appreciated by employers.

On January 12, the University of Finance and Marketing held a conference on the effectiveness of integrated training programs and full English programs in business administration, marketing, and international business.

Regarding the results of the integrated program training at the Faculty of Business Administration, Associate Professor - Dr. Huynh Thi Thu Suong, Head of the Department of Science Management - International Cooperation, said that the survey results (2023) on the application of knowledge and skills to work, 84.5% of students responded that they had learned the necessary knowledge and skills for work, a significant increase compared to 65.1% in the 2019 survey.

The survey results of students having jobs in their field of study in the first year after graduation is 88.4%, especially in the survey conducted this January for students doing their graduation thesis, nearly 60% have started working and received official offers after 2 months of probation.

Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Thi Thu Suong said that the above survey results showed a clear improvement in the training quality of the integrated program; in addition, there was also effectiveness in career orientation through the connection between training and market needs.

Regarding the marketing industry, Dr. Bao Trung, School of Marketing, said that the integrated training program is designed to develop students' knowledge and skills suitable for the global context. Students study all professional education modules in English according to international standard curriculum, equipped with practical topics taught by businesses.

The 2021-2023 employer survey found that on average, more than 87% of graduates of integrated Marketing programs were considered employable, with the highest rate reaching 92.6% in 2022. The rate of students who basically met the requirements but needed additional training ranged from 5.9% to 13.6%, while only 1.1% to 2.5% of students needed retraining or additional training of at least 6 months.

According to student feedback, 94.6% of graduating students rated the course as generally satisfactory. Of which, 98% of students were satisfied with the training program, 96.7% were satisfied with scientific research activities, etc.

Regarding salary information, Dr. Bao Trung said that for new graduates, the starting income ranges from 6 - 8 million VND/month; for full-time employees with less than 1 year of experience, the income ranges from 10 - 14 million VND/month; for marketing staff with 2 - 5 years of experience in the industry, the income ranges from 15 - 30 million VND/month, and over time, with experience and professional capacity; Marketing directors can range from 40 to 100 million VND/month.
