Many universities in Hanoi increase tuition fees

In the 2025-2026 school year, the University of Commerce, Hanoi Open University, Banking Academy... all increased tuition fees.

In the 2025-2026 school year, many universities plan to increase tuition fees by 1 to 4 million VND for standard programs. The maximum increase roadmap proposed by schools is mainly from 10-15% for each year.

If in 2024, the tuition fee for the standard program at the National Economics University was from 16 to 22 million VND/school year, this year, the tuition fee has increased by 2-3 million VND, expected to be 18-25 million VND/school year for students enrolling in the 2025-2026 school year. This is also the general increase that many universities and academies have announced in their expected enrollment plan for 2025. For example, at the Banking Academy, the University of Commerce or the Academy of Finance, and Hanoi Open University, compared to last year, the tuition fee for the standard program has increased by 1-4 million VND.

For high-quality programs, the common increase in schools is around 2-5 million VND/school year. Schools also propose a roadmap for a maximum increase of 10-15% for each year and implement according to Decree 81 of the Government.
