Nghe An's budget revenue reaches over 6,300 billion VND in the first quarter of 2025

Nghe An collected more than 6,300 billion VND in budget revenue in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 35.6% of the estimate. The province aims to collect 26,000 billion VND for the whole year, a growth of 10.5%.

On the morning of April 3, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the regular meeting for March 2025.

Co-chairing were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Bui Dinh Long, Nguyen Van De, Hoang Phu Hien, Phung Thanh Vinh.

Delegates attending the meeting included comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

The meeting was held in person and connected online to the People's Committees of 20 districts, cities and towns.

This is a very important meeting to evaluate the socio-economic situation in the first 3 months of 2025 and discuss and agree on key solutions and tasks in the coming time to achieve the growth target of 10.5% in 2025 according to the target assigned by the Government.

Reporting at the meeting, Director of the Department of Finance Trinh Thanh Hai said: State budget revenue in the area in the first quarter of 2025 was 6,311 billion VND, reaching 35.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, equal to 99.9% of the same period.

Of which, domestic revenue was VND5,954 billion, reaching 37.2% of the estimate and equal to 100.5% compared to the same period. Revenue from import-export activities was VND293.6 billion, reaching 18% of the estimate, equal to 74.6% compared to the same period.

In 2025, the estimated budget revenue assigned by the Provincial People's Council is 17,726 billion VND. Previously, in 2024, Nghe An's budget revenue exceeded the 25,000 billion VND mark for the first time, with revenue reaching 25,517 billion VND, equal to 160.4% of the estimate and 118.6% compared to the implementation in 2023.

Resolution of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, sets the target of budget revenue by 2025 to reach 26,000 - 30,000 billion VND.

In Plan No. 126/KH-UBND, dated February 28, 2025, implementing the GDRP growth scenario according to Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP of the Government on growth targets for sectors, fields and localities to ensure the annual growth target of 8% or more, Nghe An is determined to achieve the growth target of 10.5% this year according to the target assigned by the Government and strive to achieve a budget revenue of 26,000 billion VND.
