The National Target Program on New Rural Development (NRD) for the 2021-2025 period has become a talented conductor, leading a powerful orchestra of localities, organizations, and households to join in harmony, creating strong development melodies, especially through promoting production linkages.
The results are extremely encouraging: 110/130 communes in the province have completed criterion No. 13 on production organization and rural economic development, reaching a rate of 85.3%. This figure is not just a dry number on the report, but also a vivid proof of the strong transformation of Hoa Binh's rural areas. Behind each of these numbers are countless efforts, the joint efforts of the people, the strong leadership of the authorities at all levels, and the effective support of development programs and projects.
With 15/15 communes completing criterion No. 13, Mai Chau district has demonstrated its strategic vision by placing production linkage as the focus in building new rural areas. Not just stopping at slogans, the district has actually taken action by actively directing the construction and replication of shared economic models, providing maximum support to cooperatives and cooperatives (HTX) to optimize resources. The commercial and service infrastructure has been invested in a systematic, modern and synchronous manner, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development until 2030.
A special highlight is the strong development of e-commerce, a powerful tool to connect production and consumption. Enterprises and cooperatives have proactively built websites, created QR codes for products, and made the most of the power of information technology to promote and reach a large market.
The district budget is reasonably allocated to support cooperatives in applying scientific and technological advances and information technology, helping to improve product quality and economic efficiency. As a result, Mai Chau's high-quality products are available in major supermarkets and leading e-commerce platforms nationwide, creating a buzz everywhere.
The implementation of criterion No. 13 and component No. 3 of the National Target Program on New Rural Development is being implemented synchronously throughout the province. The restructuring of the agricultural sector and the promotion of the OCOP program aim to increase the added value and operational efficiency of cooperatives and enterprises, creating a powerful and diverse orchestra. The production - consumption chains of agricultural products have been increasingly appearing and promoting efficiency.
Images of large enterprises linking with local cooperatives to consume pumpkins, potatoes, sweet corn, pineapples, and safe vegetables in Kim Boi; or the connection between enterprises and farms and cooperatives in Lac Thuy to consume oranges and chili; to bringing Luong Son's safe vegetables into large supermarket systems... are all concrete examples.
According to the Department of Rural Development, these successes come from improving the efficiency of resource use, thereby increasing people's income and moving towards a sustainable agricultural growth model. The number of 158 3-star and 4-star OCOP products is a clear demonstration of the significant improvement in product quality.
The investment in building OCOP product introduction and sales points (with 100% socialized funding), combined with the diversification of agricultural product connection and consumption channels, especially e-commerce, has well met market demand, expanded production opportunities and developed concentrated raw material areas. This is the premise for sustainable development in the future.
Hoa Binh is continuing to promote the synchronous implementation of solutions on production organization and rural economic development, striving to complete and exceed the targets of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the 2021-2025 period.
