Provincial Border Guards visit and celebrate Bunpimay in Kham Muon and Savannakhet provinces

(QBĐT) - From April 8-11, a working delegation of the Provincial Border Guard Command led by Colonel Dang Van Hoang, Deputy Chief of Operations, visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to Bunpimay Public Security and Military Commands of Khammouane and Savannakhet provinces (Lao PDR).

On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Dang Van Hoang expressed his deep condolences to the officers and soldiers of the armed forces of friendly units on the passing of General Khamtay Siphandone, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President, former Prime Minister of the Lao PDR; congratulated the officers, soldiers and their families on the Bunpimay New Year with many victories in many aspects of work, contributing to promoting economic, cultural and social development.

The delegation of the Provincial Border Guard Command visited and wished Bunpimay, Kham Muon Provincial Police, a Happy New Year.

Leaders of the units also exchanged and informed each other about the socio-economic situation of the localities; the results achieved in the work of coordinating the protection of border lines and national landmarks; the work of fighting and preventing violations of the law...

Receiving the precious sentiments of the working delegation, the leaders of the friendly units highly appreciated the close relationship and the results of the implementation of tasks in the past time. At the same time, they affirmed that they will continue to promote coordination activities with the Quang Binh Border Guard, such as: Training border guards for the friendly border protection forces; organizing exercises to fight and prevent crimes on the border; propagating, disseminating, educating the law and helping people on both sides of the border to develop the economy, joining hands with the armed forces to build a peaceful, stable and developed border.
