Opening of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025

(Baoquangngai.vn)- The Provincial People's Committee held the Opening Ceremony of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025 with the theme "Discovering Quang Ngai - Where blue sea and culture converge".

Attending the opening ceremony on the evening of April 11 were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cao Phuc; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Luong Kim Son; Permanent Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Xuan Men; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province.

Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025 takes place from April 11 to 17, 2025, is a series of rich and diverse cultural, sports and tourism events, imbued with the traditional cultural identity of Quang Ngai.

The main activities and events of the week are: Organizing a field survey team, serving the media to promote tourism products; opening ceremony; Hoang Sa soldier's Khao Le The ceremony and the traditional boat racing festival of the four sacred animals; exhibition of cultural and geological heritage with the theme "Quang Ngai Tourism - Attraction from heritage and identity"; Fashion festival, street music - Carnival: Quang Ngai Say hi!; Conference on tourism development, community tourism, rural agricultural tourism in building new rural areas; H're cultural space associated with promoting the value of the special national relic site of Ba To uprising; closing ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien emphasized that Quang Ngai is famous for its wild beauty, long beaches and long-standing cultural heritages. One of the most prominent features of Quang Ngai is the wild beauty and peaceful space of Ly Son Island; where sacred historical evidence of the Fatherland's sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa is preserved.

In addition, Quang Ngai also possesses unique cultural and historical heritages, such as: Sa Huynh Cultural Special National Monument, Ba To Uprising Special National Monument, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong Memorial Site, Son My Relic Site; along with attractive agricultural and rural community tourism destinations.
