Coach Troussier eliminated Bui Tien Dung, shortened the list of Vietnam team

The Vietnamese team said goodbye to 5 players: Hoang Thai Binh, Bui Tien Dung, Nguyen Huu Son, Duong Van Hao and Dinh Thanh Binh. Among them, Bui Tien Dung is the most surprising name. He is a familiar face of the Vietnamese team under coach Park Hang Seo. In the June training session, Bui Tien Dung was called up but did not play in both friendly matches.

Bui Tien Dung was eliminated from the Vietnam national team.

Hoang Thai Binh, Duong Van Hao, Nguyen Huu Son are new recruits of the Vietnam team. However, they have not been able to compete for a chance to be on the registered list. Dinh Thanh Binh's elimination is not surprising as coach Troussier has many better strikers at his disposal.

There are 4 players transferred from U23 Vietnam to the national team: Giap Tuan Duong, Tran Nam Hai, Nguyen An Khanh and Dang Tuan Phong. Only Tuan Duong is retained. Nam Hai is transferred to train with the Vietnam Olympic team to prepare for the 19th ASIAD.

The Vietnamese team will have one more day of training in Hanoi before traveling to Nam Dinh on September 10 to prepare for a friendly match against Palestine, which will take place at Thien Truong Stadium on September 11. Before traveling to Nam Dinh, coach Philippe Troussier will finalize the official list of 23 players.
