'Bad land' for Binh Duong Club
Binh Duong FC will face Hanoi FC at Hang Day Stadium at 7:15 p.m. on November 14 in round 8 of the V-League. Notably, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team previously lost 2 of their first 4 away matches in the 2024-2025 V-League. Coincidentally, both defeats were 0-1 and took place at Hang Day Stadium.

Away form is a problem, causing Binh Duong FC to only rank fifth after 7 matches. Of the 11 points earned by Binh Duong, only 4 points were earned after 4 away matches. On the contrary, despite only playing 3 matches at Go Dau Stadium, Nguyen Tien Linh and his teammates earned 7 points.
Of course, losing to The Cong Viettel or CAHN Club is not a big problem, as these are two of the strongest and most stable teams in the V-League at the moment. However, in each loss, different shortcomings of Binh Duong Club are revealed.
Coach Hoang Anh Tuan's players defended hard against CAHN FC in the match of round 3. Despite defending well, Binh Duong FC counterattacked ineffectively, easily being caught out by the passes focused on Tien Linh. That created pressure on the defense, and the inevitable result was a goal conceded in the final minutes.
In the match against The Cong Viettel, Binh Duong FC again showed their weakness in attack. Despite having one more player in the second half, Tien Linh and his teammates mainly played long balls and crossed high. This style of play did not trouble the experienced and well-covered defense of the army team.
Binh Duong FC has scored 8 goals in the last 5 matches, but 7 of them were against a team in crisis (HCMC FC) or a young team (HAGL). Coach Hoang Anh Tuan’s team also only played “high-stakes” when playing at Go Dau, with familiar grass and space.

While Binh Duong Club often encountered problems in the second half, this was the time when Hanoi Club played most impressively.

Coach Le Duc Tuan's team, although drawing all 4 recent matches, is very lucky to score in the second half. In the match at Hang Day Stadium, the capital team can take advantage of this weakness of Binh Duong to penetrate.
While coach Hoang Anh Tuan is very experienced, this is the first time Mr. Le Duc Tuan has held the V-League table. The young "general" of Hanoi FC is still supported by the team's leaders and players. However, if Hanoi FC continues to not win, the pressure will come. Similarly, coach Hoang Anh Tuan certainly does not want to lose 3 consecutive matches at Hang Day, in just 2 months.
