"Panning for gold"
The 2024 National U.19 Finals gather almost all of the country's young football talents in 12 teams. Some of them, although not participating in the finals, have been loaned players by other teams, so they have the opportunity to appear in Binh Duong. And from there, they hope to catch the "green eye" of the head coach of the Vietnam U.20 team, Hoang Anh Tuan, and his assistants who have been present throughout the tournament.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan said: "It's true that we have to sift through the sand to find gold. We have observed nearly 300 players from 12 teams and have also carefully recorded, selecting the really good players. Initially, the technical department has also looked at quite a few players, including old faces and new players. But to be able to call anyone, we need to monitor more, especially since each team has at least 1-3 more matches. Ahead will be a hot quarter-final round with many quality matches."

The quarter-finals will be very competitive as the pairs are considered quite balanced and there will likely be surprises because of the knockout format, in addition to the stable professional factor, it requires a really strong mentality and spirit. The Cong Viettel is the only team to win all the matches in the group stage of the finals.
