As a former Hong Kong film star, Chau Hai My has influenced many generations of Asian audiences, including Vietnam. In 2019, the actress set foot in Vietnam for the first time. She had a short trip to interact with the audience as well as enjoy the cuisine and culture in Ho Chi Minh City.

The once famous TVB beauty left a good impression on the audience and Vietnamese media at that time because of her enthusiasm and friendliness.

After attending the event, Chau Hai My spent time visiting some places in Ho Chi Minh City. She took photos at a Hoi An-style cafe, Buu Long Pagoda in Thu Duc, Tan Dinh Church... Many people's impression of Chau Hai My is still the role of Chau Chi Nhuoc in the 1994 version of The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, she was even dubbed "the most beautiful Chau Chi Nhuoc". Chau Hai My was born in Hong Kong, China on December 6, 1966. She is the second child in a family of 4 siblings. To help his daughter gain experience, the actress was registered by her father to compete in Miss Hong Kong (China) but did not advance far, only making it to the top 30. These were also the stepping stones that helped Chau Hai My successfully sign a contract with TVB and enter the entertainment industry.
