The principal of Tran Phu Primary School (Duc Co district, Gia Lai) issued a decision to discipline the accountant by forcing him to quit his job, contrary to the provisions of the Law on Civil Servants.

On March 8, sources said that Mr. Hoang Danh Long, principal of Tran Phu Primary School (Duc Co district, Gia Lai), decided to cancel the disciplinary decision in the form of forced dismissal against Ms. Truong Thi Thuy, the school's accountant.
Previously, Mr. Long signed a decision to discipline Ms. Thuy by forcing her to quit her job on the grounds that she violated the provisions of the Law on Civil Servants.
Specifically, according to the school, Ms. Thuy's violations included shirking assigned responsibilities, violating regulations on working hours, lacking a sense of discipline, leaving work without permission, and failing to perform assigned tasks...
After receiving the decision to terminate her employment, Ms. Thuy complained to the authorities of Duc Co district.
The District People's Committee investigated and determined that Ms. Thuy was an official who was accepted and assigned to work by the Chairman of the District People's Committee. Therefore, the principal's decision to discipline and force Ms. Thuy to quit her job without reporting to the District People's Committee was not in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, through verification by the authorities, Ms. Thuy's violation did not reach the level of disciplinary action by forced dismissal. Therefore, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Duc Co district requested the principal to cancel the decision to discipline Ms. Thuy with the form of forced dismissal.
Instead, consider disciplining the civil servant in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Servants Law. Request the principal to restore Ms. Thuy's legal rights and interests in accordance with the regulations and consider the responsibility of the school principal in this incident.
