Each year, the Professional Association sells nearly 17 tons of meat and more than 100 breeding cows and thousands of porcupine breeds; after deducting expenses, the profit is over 1 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Van Lan, a member of the Porcupine and Cow Raising Professional Association in Da Han village, happily shared: When I joined the Professional Association, I was supported in breeding techniques, disease prevention and finding outlets for the products. Currently, my family maintains 10-15 cows and sells 10 each year, earning a profit of 70-80 million VND.

Also with more than 10 years of experience in raising commercial cattle, Mr. Nguyen Van Thu said: Participating in the Professional Association, members periodically organize monthly meetings to discuss the advantages and difficulties in caring for and preventing some common diseases in raising cattle and porcupines. Members also have access to support capital from the Farmers' Association Fund at all levels, and are facilitated to borrow capital from commercial banks to expand production.
