Tu Ky district has completed 16 houses for meritorious people and the disadvantaged.

The house of Mrs. Truong Thi Lien, Ky Son commune (Tu Ky) has been completed.

According to the Hai Duong Department of Construction, as of March 28, the province has completed the construction of 96 new houses for people with meritorious services, policy families, poor and near-poor households. Tu Ky district has 16 houses, the most in the province. Hai Duong city, Kinh Mon town, Gia Loc and Thanh Mien districts each have 11 completed houses, the second most in the province.

At the request of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, each district, city and town inaugurated 15 newly built houses before the anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday on May 19.

The province also completed 532 repaired houses, including 365 houses of families with meritorious services and policies; 167 houses of poor and near-poor households.

During the campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for families of meritorious people, policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households, Hai Duong had 1,451 households in need of building new or repairing houses.

Up to now, from various funding sources, the province has supported localities with over 74 billion VND and many localities have transferred funds to households.
