The scene of the devastating fire at a 3,000m2 wood workshop in Binh Duong

TPO - By 3:00 p.m., the fire at Ly Long Wood Company Limited had been completely extinguished. According to Binh Duong Provincial Police, this company is under the management of Tan Uyen City Police and has been suspended since December 2022.

At around 1:00 p.m. on July 15, a fire broke out at Ly Long Wood Company (Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province).

As soon as the fire was discovered, the on-site fire fighting force tried to put out the fire but failed, so they reported it to the authorities for assistance.

Upon receiving the news, Binh Duong Provincial Police dispatched 15 specialized vehicles and 90 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

According to reporters at the scene, the authorities divided into many groups to both control the fire inside the factory and prevent the fire from spreading widely, in order to limit damage.

At the time the fire was discovered, some people in the factory had managed to escape, so the fire did not cause any human casualties. However, the property in the factory was burned down, and authorities are currently assessing the damage.

A representative of Binh Duong Provincial Police said that the company where the fire occurred has been suspended since the end of 2022. The fire area at the factory is about 3,000 m2.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
