However, because the Vietnamese professional leagues have closed their transfer windows for a long time, from now until the end of the 2024/25 season, Hendrio will not be able to play professionally in the S-shaped land. The move to leave now could completely pave the way for the former Barcelona academy member to play abroad, ending his 4-year association with Vietnamese football.

And if that happens, the prospect of him becoming a naturalized citizen to play for the Vietnamese national team will become dim. Hendrio has lived in the S-shaped strip of land for 4 years. Early next year, he will be eligible for naturalization and the Brazilian midfielder has expressed his ambition to become a Vietnamese citizen to play for the Vietnamese national team.
