The library’s children’s room is decorated with many beautiful wall paintings, the space is airy and has many types of children’s comics. Many students are often brought here by their parents to read books, they are happy and comfortable when reading books and making new friends.
After carefully sketching and coloring the picture, Vo Nguyen Quynh Trang - a student at Nguyen Du Secondary School, Rach Gia City shared: “Before summer, every Saturday morning, my parents took me to the library to read books and relax. During the summer, I go to the library more often, about 3-4 days a week. I like going to the library because here I can read many books, play many games, and meet many new friends.”

The provincial library has over 150,000 books of various genres. The children's rooms, lending rooms, and general reading rooms are all arranged in open, spacious, and airy spaces to make children feel most comfortable when coming to the library. New books are arranged on bookshelves near the readers' seats, making it easy for readers to find books.

In addition to young readers, Kien Giang Provincial Library also attracts many students and civil servants to come and find documents. Tran Thanh Minh - a student at Kien Giang University said: "My house is near the library, so I often come here to read books and find study materials. The provincial library has desktop computers connected to the internet, convenient for looking up necessary information or using them to do homework. In addition, the space here is airy and quiet, I really like it."
According to many parents, taking their children to the library is not only for them to relax and read books, but also for them to be exposed to a diverse cultural space. Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nga, living in Rach Gia City, shared: “In addition to teaching my children swimming and English, I take my two children to the Provincial Library 3-4 times a week to read and play.
