Lam Dong Provincial People's Council held its 31st session

(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of April 4, under the chairmanship of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Thi Phuc, the 31st meeting of the Provincial People's Council was held to review and decide on a number of contents to prepare for the 24th Session - the Special Session of the Provincial People's Council and to review and decide on a number of contents under its authority.

The thematic meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday, April 28 to consider and decide on a number of important issues serving the local socio-economic development task.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held an internal meeting to give opinions on the implementation and thematic supervision of the implementation of Resolution No. 205/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council, term IX, term 2016 - 2021 on the 5-year socio-economic development tasks 2021 - 2025 of the Provincial People's Council.

Delegates representing the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches gave their opinions on the contents of the preparation for the thematic meeting such as: Draft Resolution on land policy for ethnic minorities living in the province; Draft Resolution deciding on the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to build the Tan Phu (Dong Nai) - Bao Loc expressway section in Lam Dong; Draft Resolution stipulating the authority to decide on the procurement of assets for science and technology tasks using the state budget; procurement of goods and services for science and technology funding sources under the management of the province; stipulating the authority to invest and purchase information technology application activities using regular expenditure funds from the state budget...; reorganizing the activities of the cooperative development support fund; allocating state budget capital to implement the national target program on poverty reduction...

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested agencies, departments and branches to pay careful attention to the preparation of draft resolution documents to be submitted to the meeting and send them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council Committees no later than April 14 to serve the review work and serve the People's Council delegates.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant units to focus on carefully studying and reviewing full and detailed reports on the contents expected to be submitted to the thematic session to ensure the best conditions for the successful meeting.
