On April 8, 2025, Duong Lieu commune, Hoai Duc district held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of the city-level architectural and artistic relic of Bai Pagoda "Linh Chau Tu".

Bai Pagoda “Linh Chau Tu” is a religious building worshiping Buddha, located on a spacious land outside the Day River dike. From its inception until today, the pagoda has undergone many changes and restorations, and during the reign of Khai Dinh, the pagoda was extensively renovated and has the architectural scale as it is today.

Not only a place for religious activities, during the war, Bai Pagoda was an evacuation site for Viet Duc Hospital, a hiding place for soldiers and civilians during enemy sweeps. When peace was restored, the pagoda returned to its original value, a place to consolidate the community, expressing the wishes for a peaceful and beautiful life. It can be said that throughout its formation and existence, Bai Pagoda "Linh Chau Tu" was not only a place for spiritual and cultural activities, a place to guide people to the values ​​of Truth - Goodness - Beauty, but also contributed to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, clearly demonstrating the spirit of Buddhism accompanying the nation, linking religion with life.

Although Bai Pagoda "Linh Chau Tu" has a simple architecture, the system of Buddha statues inside the relic still preserved clearly shows the architectural style of the Nguyen Dynasty, especially the system of statues: Dharma protectors, three worlds, Quan Am Chuan De, Nine Dragons, Duc Ong... are meticulously crafted, carefully crafted, vivid, the system of artifacts, worshiping objects such as horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences, incense bowls are rich in design and material, making the relic like a miniature museum, clearly showing the folk culture of Doai land.
With these historical values, on March 26, 2021, Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 1457/QD-UBND to rank Bai Pagoda "Linh Chau Tu" as an architectural and artistic relic. This is the honor and pride of all local people, the recognition and honor of the historical, cultural, architectural and artistic values ​​of the relic and shows the respect and gratitude of many generations who have preserved the relic to this day.

Speaking at the Reception Ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Trung Thuan - Vice Chairman of Hoai Duc District People's Committee requested the Party Committee and the authorities of Duong Lieu Commune to continue to propagate and raise the awareness and responsibility of the People in preserving, protecting and promoting the cultural values ​​of Bai Pagoda "Linh Chau Tu". In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the protection of the landscape and space of the relic; join hands to make the relic more and more spacious, better meeting the spiritual needs of local people as well as in the region; furthermore, Bai Pagoda will become a tourist destination, a place to visit and study for visitors inside and outside the district.
