An Phu District People's Council held a regular meeting in the first quarter.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Standing Committee of the An Phu District People's Council successfully organized two thematic meetings, passing many resolutions on reorganization and merger of specialized departments under the District People's Committee. Implementing the supervision plan, annual work program, citizen reception schedule; coordinating with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to organize meetings with voters after the meeting, with 565 voters attending, recording and sending to competent authorities to resolve 46 opinions related to the fields of health, culture, society, etc.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and agreed on the implementation of the monitoring plan of the Standing Committee and the two committees of the District People's Council before the mid-year meeting in 2025 for the People's Committees of Khanh Binh and Phuoc Hung communes and An Phu town. Concluding the meeting, Phung Minh Tan, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the An Phu District People's Council, requested the Standing Committee and the committees of the District People's Council and the People's Councils of 14 communes and towns to continue to perform their roles, functions and tasks well until a decision is made to organize a new government model. The People's Councils of communes and towns should pay attention to implementing well the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, striving to achieve the set targets; strengthening the supervision of construction investment projects in the area, especially the project of upgrading and expanding the road of 3 communes on the Eastern bank.
