TPO - On March 29, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches coordinated with units to organize the activity "Clean up Son Tra - For a green Son Tra" in 2025.

The launching ceremony at CT15 Inland Waterway Terminal, Son Tra Peninsula (Da Nang City) attracted hundreds of youth union members and local people to participate.

In particular, the campaign also has international volunteers, who are tourists coming to Da Nang for sightseeing and vacation.

Early in the morning, volunteers prepared tools to carry out the campaign to clean up Son Tra peninsula. Thu Thao - Danang University of Economics shared: "I find the activity very meaningful. Especially for young people like me".

After the launching ceremony, the groups received tools such as trash bags, gloves and trash tongs to collect trash.

Groups cleaned up around the CT15 inland waterway port and used trucks to collect the trash back to the starting point.

The organizers prepared small pots of succulents to exchange for volunteers' trash. "Giving gifts of trees is not only a way to show gratitude to volunteers but also carries a profound message about environmental protection and sustainable development for the area," said a representative of the organizers.

According to the Organizing Committee, this is an activity within the framework of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025).
