Restricting waterway traffic on Luc Nam River until the end of 2025

The Inland Waterways Department of Region I announced that from today (August 23) to December 31, 2025, Luc Nam River (Bac Giang province) will restrict inland waterway traffic.

Restricting waterway traffic to serve the construction of the inland waterway port project of An Khanh - Bac Giang thermal power plant (specialized port).

Restricted area with inland waterway route from Km 11+000 to Km 11+700 of the national inland waterway Luc Nam River, located in Vu Xa commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.

Inland waterway vehicles entering this area must strictly follow the instructions of the inland waterway traffic safety regulatory force and the inland waterway signaling system installed in the area; strictly comply with the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic.
