Hamlet Truong said there is a chicken pho restaurant right below his house. This is also his favorite dish, so he tried eating it for a whole week because he couldn't think of what to eat.

This is Hamlet's first time performing in Korea as part of Pho Day, so he is nervous. Hamlet hopes to see many Vietnamese people who love him in the audience.

Peace when eating a bowl of pho in a foreign land

Hamlet Truong agrees with the saying "love goes through the stomach" which is never wrong, even people who eat less still like to eat well.

The special thing is that Vietnamese food is always his priority choice because the food has the appearance of family, of habits from childhood to adulthood with relatives and friends.

"Seeing many foreign stars coming to Vietnam, sitting simply and munching on bread, or foreigners praising spring rolls and chicken pho, Hamlet loves his homeland and what he has even more" - the male musician shared.

Hamlet Truong can eat pho at any time of the day, early in the morning or late at night. He said he likes a long-standing pho restaurant in District 3 - Pho Le.

Talking about the criteria for a delicious bowl of pho, he analyzed: "Hamlet likes rich flavors, so the broth will be the first criterion. Delicious broth accounts for 70% of diners' feelings."

Because of his love for pho, when he goes abroad to perform, Hamlet Truong always looks for pho restaurants to enjoy.

"Even if I'm not in a good mood, when I find a Vietnamese pho restaurant, I immediately feel at peace" - Hamlet Truong emphasized.

Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 takes place on October 5 and 6, 2024 at Pie Factory, 441 Gwangnaru-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (Korea).

The program is co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, Tuoi Tre newspaper, Saigontourist Group, under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the coordination of the Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, General Association of Vietnamese in Korea, Association of Vietnamese Enterprises in Korea, Korea - Southeast Asia Economic Cooperation Association (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea).

Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 has a performance stage, nearly 70 booths, including more than 40 booths selling pho and Vietnamese and Korean delicacies. Besides, there is a space for cultural experiences, exhibitions, and introductions to Vietnamese culinary culture and tourism.

With the slogan "Enjoy Pho, Discover Vietnam", the program organizers hope to use Vietnam Pho Festival to create people-to-people diplomacy activities, promote the friendly relations between the two countries, promote culinary culture, and connect trade based on the economic and tourism potentials of Vietnam and Korea.
