Bac Ninh Customs dialogues with more than 200 import-export enterprises

(HQ Online) - On March 21, 2024, Bac Ninh Customs Department organized the Customs - Business Dialogue Conference on customs in 2024, with the participation of more than 500 delegates representing more than 200 enterprises with import-export activities in the provinces: Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen.

This year, Bac Ninh Customs Department in collaboration with Vietnam Industry Support Alliance and International Logistics Joint Stock Company (INTERLOG) invited experts to directly guide the practice, analyze in detail the forms in the settlement report; provide solutions, note to avoid errors, common mistakes as well as share experiences to handle problems and difficulties related to management work in explaining customs settlement reports.

According to experts, during the production process, businesses often underestimate the process of controlling data during the period, leading to errors in the input and output data during the period when preparing the final report, making it difficult to find errors and make adjustments. Therefore, in order for the final report preparation process to be smooth and in accordance with regulations, businesses need to pay attention from the first step of importing input materials to the last step of inventory management, avoiding errors that arise.

With an open and receptive spirit, at the conference, the leaders of Bac Ninh Customs Department and the Consulting Team directly answered questions in the process of implementing customs procedures; helping businesses grasp and update new customs laws and policies, remove difficulties and problems arising in the process of customs procedures, as well as the practical production and import-export business activities of businesses.

At the conference, dozens of businesses had their questions directly answered by the consulting team regarding on-site import-export procedures; conditions for being recognized as a priority business; submitting settlement reports, how to make settlement reports, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Director of Bac Ninh Customs Department Tran Duc Hung said that in recent years, with the spirit of supporting, accompanying, and facilitating import and export activities, the unit has diversified communication channels, gone into substance, creating an environment for communication and sharing between the Customs agency and the business community.

This result is shown in the 2022 Administrative Reform Results Monitoring and Evaluation Index of affiliated and subordinate units announced by the General Department of Customs, with Bac Ninh Customs Department leading the country.
