VIB, Nam A Bank and NCB successfully held their 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 27, 28 and 29, respectively.
Accordingly, VIB's general meeting of shareholders (GMS) approved the 2025 business plan with pre-tax profit of VND 11,020 billion, an increase of 22% compared to 2024.
VIB will pay cash dividends at a rate of 7% of charter capital (charter capital as of December 31, 2024 is VND 29,791 billion), estimated amount to pay dividends is more than VND 2,085 billion.
In addition, the Board of Directors proposed a plan to increase charter capital by issuing more than 417 million bonus shares to existing shareholders and 7.8 million bonus shares to employees. The bank's charter capital is expected to increase by about VND4,250 billion, to VND34,040 billion after the issuances. The remaining profit after tax after setting aside funds and distributing dividends is more than VND4,000 billion.
Nam A Bank 's General Meeting of Shareholders approved key business targets for 2025, such as the target of consolidated pre-tax profit reaching VND 5,000 billion; total assets reaching VND 270,000 billion, capital mobilization from individuals and economic organizations and issuance of valuable papers reaching VND 209,000 billion; outstanding loans to individuals and economic organizations reaching VND 194,000 billion, ensuring safety ratios in accordance with regulations.
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Nam A Bank has agreed to increase its charter capital by more than VND 4,281 billion, raising its charter capital from more than VND 13,725 billion to more than VND 18,000 billion. This capital increase is carried out through the issuance of shares from equity capital and the issuance of shares under Nam A Bank's employee stock option program (ESOP).

At NCB , shareholders also agreed on the 2025 business plan with total assets reaching VND 135,500 billion, customer mobilization reaching VND 118,500 billion, growth of 14.6% and 23.2% respectively compared to 2024; customer loans growing 30% to VND 92,528 billion.
NCB also set a pre-restructuring profit target of VND59 billion and committed to using all profits to implement the approved restructuring plan.
NCB also approved a plan to continue increasing its charter capital by an additional VND7,500 billion through the private offering of 700 million shares, equivalent to 59.42% of NCB's charter capital at the time of offering, with an offering price of no less than VND10,000/share.
After completing the capital increase, NCB will increase its charter capital from the current VND11,780 billion to VND19,280 billion.
NCB's 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders also agreed on the plan to issue individual convertible bonds of up to VND 2,000 billion (or equivalent foreign currency value), the issuance volume is 20,000 bonds, the maximum bond term is 5 years, the type of convertible bonds, the domestic or international offering market, authorizing the Board of Directors to choose the issuance market.
Among the remaining commercial banks, VietinBank is the next bank to hold its annual general meeting of shareholders on April 1, 2025.
After VietinBank, BIDV is the next bank to hold its annual general meeting of shareholders on April 4.
Meanwhile, Vietcombank will hold its 2025 annual general meeting of shareholders on April 26.
After two extraordinary General Meetings of Shareholders in Hanoi, Eximbank will hold its first annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Hanoi on April 29. The expected meeting contents include: Election of the Board of Directors, Supervisory Board for the 8th term (2025-2030) and other contents.
