After Bien Hoa city leaders responded and immediately handled the petitions in accordance with regulations, many households agreed to sign a commitment to hand over the land to serve the construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
On March 29, about 200 households that have not yet handed over the land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway in Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai were invited to gather for a direct dialogue with the leaders of Bien Hoa city People's Committee.
The dialogue content is related to recommendations in implementing support and compensation policies when the State acquires land. People focus on making general recommendations, mainly related to resettlement, land location, and compensation prices.
Bien Hoa City leaders held a dialogue to further resolve difficulties and answer questions for the people.
After Bien Hoa city leaders answered people's concerns and promptly handled their petitions in accordance with regulations, many households agreed to sign a commitment to hand over the site to serve the construction of a national key project.
According to the leaders of Bien Hoa City, during this period, along with propaganda and mobilization, the locality also has a plan to enforce against households who do not agree to hand over the land. Up to now, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City has issued 188 decisions to enforce land recovery to implement the project through Phuoc Tan Ward, but after that, the households voluntarily handed over the land and demolished their houses.
"The locality will continue to mobilize people until March 30 for households that have had a decision on forced eviction but have not handed over the land. After that, if people still do not hand over the land for road construction, the Bien Hoa City People's Committee, Phuoc Tan Ward People's Committee will coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to carry out forced eviction measures on March 31," Mr. Ho Van Nam, Secretary of the Bien Hoa City Party Committee, directed.
It is known that up to now (March 29), Tam Phuoc ward has had 100% of people hand over the land. In Phuoc Tan ward, nearly 800 households have agreed to hand over the land, equivalent to about 87%, and nearly 200 households have not yet handed over the land.
The section through Phuoc Tan ward is also being processed.
Regarding the construction progress, according to the reporter's records, on March 29, the ground level of the first section of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway component 1 project was basically cleared, so the contractor mobilized vehicles and equipment to drill overpass piles and synchronously carry out construction of many items. The intersection at the beginning of the route between the expressway and Vo Nguyen Giap Street is one of the three areas given special priority in handing over the ground level to speed up construction.
People handed over the land so the contractor quickly started construction.
In parallel, for other expressway sections through Dong Nai, the contractor has also built roadbeds, graded crushed stone, constructed bridges, culverts, drilled piles to treat weak soil, etc. The output of component project 1 has so far reached about 25%.
Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway through Dong Nai province is about 34.2km. Of which, component project 1 is more than 16km long. Currently, component project 1 and component 2 through Dong Nai have only achieved 25-35% of output and are still facing difficulties in land clearance.
