Leaders of Customs Branch Region III recently had a working session with leaders of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd.
At the meeting, Head of the Customs Branch of Region III Tran Manh Cuong affirmed that in recent years, the Customs sector in general and the Branch in particular have always paid attention to and focused on synchronously and drastically implementing many solutions to facilitate the business community.
One of the key solutions is to strengthen the Customs - Business partnership, thereby bringing many positive results for both the Customs agency and the business community, including Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The leaders of the Regional Customs Branch III pledge to always closely direct the unit and civil servants to create the most favorable conditions for businesses, promptly and effectively resolve difficulties and problems arising during customs procedures...
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Manh Cuong thanked Mitsubishi Vietnam Automobile Company Limited for trusting and choosing the unit to carry out customs procedures and make an important contribution to the annual budget revenue of the Department.
Specifically, in the past 5 years (2020-2024), the Company has contributed a total tax of about VND 10,400 billion (equivalent to more than VND 2,000 billion/year), accounting for 17% -20% of the total state budget revenue from automobiles in the entire unit.
Notably, in the first months of 2025, the Company's imported automobile output to Hai Phong port area tended to increase, so the Company's state budget revenue contributed to the Department of over 500 billion VND.
With the above important contributions of the Company, Hai Phong Customs Department has proposed Hai Phong City People's Committee to award Certificates of Merit to the enterprise 4 times (since 2019).
Director Tran Manh Cuong hopes that Mitsubishi Vietnam Automobile Co., Ltd. will continue to accompany the Department in the coming years, making an important contribution to the unit's successful completion of assigned goals and tasks, contributing to the overall achievements of the Customs sector and Hai Phong City.
On this occasion, Mr. Yanagawa Tomoki, General Director of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd., sincerely thanked the leaders of the Department for their attention and favorable conditions for businesses in the process of carrying out import procedures.
At the same time, Mr. Yanagawa Tomoki shared the Company's plan to expand factories in key cities, including Hai Phong city, and hoped to continue receiving support and companionship from the Region III Customs Branch.
