On the morning of November 29, at GO! Hai Duong supermarket (Hai Duong city), the Department of Industry and Trade held a launching ceremony to respond to consumer rights protection and inaugurated the "Cashless payment experience space".
Attending the event were representatives of a number of departments, branches, leaders of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities and representatives of a number of businesses in the province.
The launching ceremony aims to call on businesses, organizations and individuals to produce and trade healthily, and to uphold their responsibility towards consumers. To invest in production, farming and processing processes according to regulations, and not to use prohibited additives. To not produce or trade in counterfeit, fake or poor quality goods, and to only bring to the market quality products, ensuring the safety of consumers' health.
State management agencies, authorities at all levels, social organizations, the Association for Standards and Consumer Protection, and mass media agencies contribute more actively to the fight against the production and trading of counterfeit, fake, poor quality goods that do not ensure food safety and hygiene. Mobilize all classes of people in the province to prioritize using Vietnamese goods and support and mobilize businesses to actively invest, produce, and supply high-quality products and goods .
Encourage each consumer to use goods with clear origin; use environmentally friendly products and services; do not buy or use counterfeit, fake, poor quality goods, or goods of unknown origin. At the same time, work with state management agencies to fight against organizations, businesses, and individuals who violate consumer rights.
In addition, actively respond to and implement cashless payment transactions in daily life. Gradually change shopping habits towards a civilized and modern direction, contributing to accelerating the process of applying digital transformation in the province.
In recent years, the work of protecting consumer rights and developing e-commerce has been directed and implemented, achieving many positive results. Social organizations and the Association for Standards and Consumer Rights Protection have had many positive activities, promoting consumer protection and e-commerce management in the province.
However, consumer protection still has limitations, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and goods that do not ensure food hygiene and safety still exist in the market. Consumers are not fully aware of their rights and obligations when purchasing goods and services.
“Cashless payment experience space” is
