Hanoi organizes 70 spring flower markets during Tet

Hanoi will organize 70 spring flower markets across the city to serve people's shopping, sightseeing and entertainment needs during the Lunar New Year 2025.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 387 on organizing a spring flower market to serve the Lunar New Year 2025 in the capital.

Accordingly, Hanoi will organize 70 spring flower markets across the city to serve people's shopping, sightseeing and entertainment needs.

The spring flower market will be held from January 8 to 8:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025. Products on display include trees, flowers, ornamental fruits; handicraft products, OCOP products and products for Lunar New Year.

Spring flower market locations approved by the City People's Committee must ensure requirements on security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental sanitation. Collection of rental fees for business space and vehicle parking at flower markets must comply with current regulations.

Hanoi also requires that the spring flower market must have a nameplate, flag decoration, and lighting; arrange a working place and phone number of the flower market management unit to contact for transactions and promptly resolve incidents; reserve a suitable area to park vehicles for visitors and shoppers; and arrange a public restroom area.

The management unit must decorate and arrange the market area and arrange flowers, ornamental plants and other products and commodities reasonably, convenient for people's shopping, demonstrating the traditional cultural beauty of the capital and ensuring commercial civilization and urban beauty.
