On the morning of October 4, the Hanoi People's Committee held a ceremony to inaugurate and put up a signboard for the project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the capital, the expansion of Au Co - Nghi Tam road and the opening of Xuan Dieu road (Tay Ho district).
The project to expand Au Co - Nghi Tam road from Thang Loi hotel to Nhat Tan bridge (Tay Ho district, Hanoi) is 3.4km long, with an investment of about 544 billion VND.
The road is widened to 26.5 - 31m in cross-section, with the main road having 4-6 lanes. The residential road inside the dike is 5m wide.
Construction of the project started in early 2021. After many delays, the project has now been completed and officially opened to traffic.
The investment project to expand Xuan Dieu Street has a length of 1.1km, with an investment capital of nearly 400 billion VND, and was invested in construction by the People's Committee of Tay Ho District since 2020.
The starting point of the project intersects with To Ngoc Van Street, the end point intersects with Au Co Street, expanded on the basis of the existing road, in which the roadway is 10.5m wide, the sidewalk is 5m wide.
According to the original plan, the expansion was expected to be completed after 1 year, but the project was delayed due to problems in site clearance.
