(QNO) - On the afternoon of August 16, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu chaired a meeting with relevant departments and branches to listen to reports on two contents submitted to the 16th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, including Regulations on support for people working at Cultural - Sports Centers of communes, wards and towns in Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2026 and Regulations on support for organizing funerals and condolences for officials, civil servants, public employees of Quang Nam province and other related subjects when they pass away.
Currently, the Cultural - Sports Centers of communes, wards and towns in the province do not have a legal basis to pay part-time allowances to management and maintenance staff.
To solve the difficult situation of financial mechanism to support staff working at the Cultural - Sports Center at the commune level, the Provincial People's Committee has developed a project on Regulations to support people working at Cultural - Sports Centers at communes, wards and towns in Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2026. This content aims to support funding for people working at cultural institutions at the commune, ward and town levels to promote creativity and rationally exploit surplus cultural facilities after the merger of communes and wards in the coming time.
The content of the Regulations on supporting the organization of funerals and condolences for officials, civil servants, public employees of Quang Nam province and other related subjects upon their death, has established levels of support for organizing funerals, expenses for condolences and other expenses.
The meeting received many comments from departments and branches to complete the content. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to receive comments and edit the project content accordingly.
