In order to meet the expectations of Vietnam lovers around the world, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam introduces to the global audience a multilingual Vietnam image promotion platform translated into many languages including English, French, Russian, German, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, Thai, and Khmer.

In today's globalized and internationally integrated world, a country's reputation and positive image are increasingly valued, attracting the attention of the international community because the national image not only affects international relations but also impacts the country's socio-economic development as well as its competitiveness. Therefore, the creation, promotion and enhancement of the national image are increasingly focused on by countries as a soft power strategy in a changing international environment. Recently, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam launched a platform to promote the image of Vietnam with the domain name https://vietnam.vn, which applies new, smart technology, has many outstanding features in processing, providing information, and has the ability to access quickly and diversely, meeting all the needs of readers.

With a huge amount of information compiled from more than 100 major press agencies, 63 electronic information portals of provinces/cities and other data sources to update and provide fast, multi-dimensional information about Vietnam in many languages. Thanks to that, the image of the country and people of Vietnam with unique and distinctive cultural values becomes closer to readers.

By using Google's advanced automatic translation support tool, this tool will automatically translate all content into many languages: English, French, German, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, Thai, Khmer. These languages will be default when readers access the next time. The translated content is also edited to ensure accuracy. Thereby, international friends can clearly and correctly understand Vietnam, believe in Vietnam's path of innovation and international integration, and correctly evaluate Vietnam's potential, advantages and contributions to the common development process of the region and the world.

Vietnam 3D section Vietnam is digitized in 360 3D format for viewers to experience a real Vietnam in the digital world.

Figure section: Public faces portrayed through the perspective of the press, introducing contributions to the community for a strong Vietnam.

Views section: Different perspectives of people, businesses, scholars, and experts on Vietnam in integration and development. And at the same time, it is an open forum for domestic and international audiences to express their views and perspectives on the country and people of Vietnam.

April 13, 2023, officially launched the platform to promote Vietnam's image.

On October 3, 2023, the group of authors who built the platform to promote Vietnam's image was awarded the Second Prize by the National Council for Foreign Information Awards for the 9th National Foreign Information Awards in the category of initiatives and products with foreign information value.
